Found a command that no longer works, want a guide added, or have a question about modding Pillars of Eternity? Get in touch.

The Infinity Codex is kept accurate with help from the players who use it. If a command or a step has drifted out of date with a patch, or you think something important is missing, a quick message is the fastest way to get it fixed.

Write any time. Please include your game version and, if it is about a specific command, exactly what you typed and what happened — it makes fixes much quicker.

Good things to tell us

  • A console command that no longer behaves as described, plus your game version.
  • A missing item, attribute or skill name you had to hunt for elsewhere.
  • A guide you wish existed — for the base game, the White March expansions, or Deadfire.
  • Anything on the site that reads unclearly or looks broken on your device.

What happens to your message

Emails are read by a person, used only to answer you and to improve the site, and never added to a mailing list or shared with anyone. If your note points out an error, the relevant page is checked against the current game and corrected — often the quickest way the reference stays accurate is a player noticing something before we do. There is no account to create and no form that quietly signs you up for anything; it is simply an inbox.

What we can’t help with

A quick note to save everyone time. Infinity Codex is a reference, not a download site: it does not host or supply the game, the IE Mod, or any save-editor software, and it cannot provide game keys, activation help or refunds — those belong to the store you bought Pillars of Eternity from, or a mod's own release page. It also is not the place to request cheats for other games; the focus here is Pillars of Eternity, its sequel Deadfire, and the DayZ map that has always lived at this address. Anything outside that scope is better taken to the relevant store, developer or community forum, who can actually act on it.

Within that scope, though, almost anything is fair game — a command that stopped working after a patch, a stat or item name that is missing, a step that no longer matches your version, or a guide you wish existed. Those messages are the ones that genuinely make the site better, so do not hesitate to send them.

Before you write

Most day-to-day questions are already answered on the site itself. If you cannot get the console to open, the console-command finder has a step-by-step section and a troubleshooting note. If you are hunting for an item or a stat name, the item & money reference and the attribute & skill reference cover the naming patterns. And if you are new to the whole idea, the IE Mod overview is the best place to start. If your question survives all of that, it is exactly the kind worth sending — those are the ones that make the site better.
